Sex and Lies

Alisa (Avi Love) has a boss, Theodore (Logan Pierce), who is a spoiled egomaniac taking her for granted, while getting a thrill out of cheating on his wife with Alisa in earshot. Theodore’s wife Christiana (Sovereign Syre) in turn, gets her sexual kicks from her yoga instructor. All the chaos and deviance doesn’t mesh with Alisa’s preferred lifestyle of calm, control and order and she turns elsewhere looking for fulfillment.

Director Hank Hoffman and writer Slinka Long offer up a heady, sex-filled drama featuring surprising plot twists, complex characters and steamy sex. This duo works well together having co-written multiple features for Wicked Pictures in the past. They have a flair for the dramatic and always seem able to deliver a compelling story that keeps the audience engaged while incorporating some pretty scintillating sex as well. This film is no exception. I also really appreciate when a director is able to work certain scene combinations into the story seamlessly. This film has two G/G scenes but the story creates a perfect reason for those scenes to exist. It doesn’t feel shoehorned at all which is always welcomed.

2019 XBIZ Best Actress Avi Love returns to Wicked Pictures for the first time since winning the coveted award and she continues to show the industry why she should be considered one of the best actors working today. Avi has a lot of voiceover work in this film and it all sounds perfectly natural, but the really impressive thing is the way she’s able to convey a different tone when she’s speaking to other people. The viewer is effectively transported between Alisa’s internal world and the waking world through the tonal shifts in Avi’s vocal delivery. She’s also very good at speaking with her face, meaning she’s able to convey clear emotion without saying a word. It goes a long way to connecting her character with the audience.

Ryan Driller has always been able to charm the pants off anyone and his irresistible smoothness is on full display here. I loved the mirror between Adam (Driller) and Alisa. Adam carries himself like a confident general on the battlefield. With his even tone and unflappable demeanor, he is the embodiment of everything Alisa craves and admires in life. It creates a fantastic dynamic between them and their conversation near the end of the film is a perfect verbal presentation of their dichotomy.

While Avi Love is the clear star of the story, Sovereign Syre is the clear star of the sex. She’s got wonderful natural tits that bounce around beautifully during her scene with Cody Steele and I loved the fact that they were both naked throughout because Sovereign’s got a beautiful skin tone. The way her pale skin gets pink as Cody smacks her ass is very sexy and goodness what a lovely ass it is! Hoffman also captures some great angles. There’s an over the shoulder shot of Cody licking Sovereign’s pussy on the couch that is super hot and the low angle view of her riding him was awesome. It was also great to see Cody go from fucking Syren to eating her pussy and back to fucking her often. Stuff like that breaks up the formulaic nature of sex scenes and feels a lot more natural.

Sovereign also has a light BDSM scene with Daisy Stone that had a completely different feel from the B/G scene with Cody. Syren is controlling and Stone is playfully defiant yet obedient. Lots of little things to enjoy with this scene, like the way Sovereign scratches at Daisy’s thighs or rubs her feet on Daisy’s ass while Daisy licks her pussy. That stuff may go unnoticed by some, but it really does add heat and a sense of fantasy realism to the scene. This scene also features some very naughty anal play that is shot from a great angle and features Daisy literally squirming into orgasmic bliss as Sovereign fingers her asshole. Fantastic stuff.

Nikki Peach and Logan Pierce have a go at each other on the office couch with Nikki spending a lot of time opened nicely to the camera. The scene also features a nice soft taboo moment where Logan covers Nikki’s mouth as she rides him; a small detail, but a sexy one. Then Nikki finishes him with a fairly aggressive ride, effectively pounding Pierce to the finish line with her rhythmic, relentless cock gallop.

Ana Foxxx and Serene Siren have a sensual roleplay scene that isn’t a “furry” scene by any means, but it definitely is in the same room. Ana sports a leather cat mask in the vein of Catwoman and a furry tail attached to a silver butt plug. She even crawls in on all fours and laps at a saucer of milk. Avi Love and Ryan Driller share a bed and their scene starts slow and builds steadily to a raucous finish. When they change positions it feels like they’re doing so because they want to explore each other in a new way, not because the director called for a switch. At one point Alisa tells Adam, “I’m almost there, don’t stop I’m almost there,” and you can see that she is telling the truth. What a vulnerable and sexy moment that was!

This movie didn’t have the same heaviness that a lot of Hoffman’s movies do, instead opting for a light drama with a surprise twist. It still worked just fine and actually showed that Hoffman has lots of tricks in his storytelling bag. Avi Love and Ryan Driller give great performances and create a dynamic that between them that really holds the entire story together while Sovereign Syre lights up the screen with her sexual energy. I watched this movie on Wicked.com, so I was not able to view any of the special features.
