Iris: A Seth Gamble Feature

Award-winning director Seth Gamble takes viewers on a tense ride through one woman's quest for revenge. Blake Blossom is a ride-share driver bent on retribution. Her unsuspecting targets plow through their lascivious lives, callously unaware of how they affect those around them. But Blake plans to remind them that actions have consequences.

Seth has proven himself to be one of the best writers and directors in the business in addition to being a prolific performer. He has the mind of a storyteller and an eye for sizzling sex. Here, he crafts a tense narrative told through the gaze of a traumatized young woman, and his cast does a good job bringing the story to life.

The tale starts with Blake narrating her love of driving to the audience as she cruises through the bustling city. But when she runs into Charles Dera and his date Jennifer White in a restaurant, she's visibly shaken and hightails it out of there. Charles recognizes her but isn't sure where he's seen her before. And he doesn't have long to think about the past, because he's got a delicious ass in his hands in the present. Jennifer has always been stunning, and she shows herself to still be just as sultry as she's ever been. Charles, meanwhile, is slimy and cocky, creating a dirty dynamic between the two. She gives him a messy blowjob while he smiles crudely before spreading her legs wide so that he can taste her pussy. When he starts pumping her, it's with measured force and purpose, as if he's showing off his carnal prowess proudly. This scene is all aggression and sexual release, and it fits the tone of the film perfectly.

This is one of the smaller features (in scope and scale) I've seen from Seth in recent years, but it's definitely going to strike a chord with some viewers. Blake is a vision as always, and the story does a good job of revealing itself slowly. Emma shines in her scene, and it's always a joy to see Jennifer in a film.
