Q&A: Briana Lee Bewitches With Pure Charisma

Q&A: Briana Lee Bewitches With Pure Charisma

Describing herself as “the exotic girl next door,” Briana Lee is an all-natural camming, clips and premium social media star.

Infusing her self-shot videos with an amateur aesthetic, while bringing a relaxed vibe to camming and juggling subscription-based feeds, Lee has developed the multi-tasking mastery of a top-rated triple-threat content creator.

I am very open and enjoy sharing my life with my fans, which I think is something they definitely appreciate.

She can smoothly hop from her preferred SextPanther platform, which gives her that real-time phone-to-phone immediacy she craves, onto other sites like Chaturbate and OnlyFans to harness a diverse audience.

As a girl-girl performer, this brunette babe is now eyeing a potential pivot into boy-girl content in the future, while growing her social media following as much as she can along the way.

Now, go behind the scenes with Lee for an inside look, in this exclusive Clip Star of the Month interview.

XBIZ: Tell us what inspired you to join the adult industry.

Lee: I kind of fell into it, really. It was never something I had even considered. I used to attend car shows frequently and made friends with some of the exhibitors. That led to me working their booths for them, which then led me to start modeling with the cars.

It was at one of these shows that my first webmaster approached me and asked if I had ever thought about modeling full-time and potentially camming as well. At this point, I didn’t even know that camming live on the internet was a thing, haha.

He was also a photographer, so it was like an all-in-one deal. I took the leap and signed up for my first solo website, started camming and never really looked back.

XBIZ: What are your favorite sites for selling videos, streaming and interacting with fans? Why do you prefer those platforms?

Lee: SextPanther is my favorite tool for interacting with my fans. They offer a premium text and phone call service and are by far and away the best at what they do. I have nothing but good things to say about them. They are also very close to their models and respect our opinions when we offer feedback and advice. They make it possible for us to be able to interact with our fans safely and easily. Texts and calls come directly to my phone and are sent back to the user’s phone, so it is essentially direct communication. They also offer an awesome online dashboard through their website, which is great for both models and users who don’t want to stare at their phones all day long.

Chaturbate is where you can find me livestreaming. I moved over to them just a few months ago, so I am still learning the website and how to make it work for me. The traffic level is off the charts and the options they offer to help make their performers money are pretty much endless.

ManyVids is where I have my main clip store now. For me, they have been the ones to invest the most time and effort in evolving the clip store technology in a way that helps both their content sellers and their customers. ManyVids is also really involved with their content sellers. You don’t feel like just another number with them like you would on some other websites. I have been invited to work alongside them at conventions and got to meet some of their wonderful staff. It is always nice to put a face to a name. Their new livestreaming option is awesome as well, because it helps you take advantage of the huge amount of traffic they generate. They also offer one of the highest-percentage payouts in the industry.

XBIZ: How do you balance multiple revenue streams, and which ones are most lucrative for you?

Lee: It’s not always easy, but I have been doing this for a long time now, so it all comes naturally to me. When I first started out, there wasn’t anywhere near the amount of social media that you are expected to stay up to date with nowadays. It does make me feel sorry for people just entering the industry; it must be so overwhelming for them sometimes.

Gone are the days where you can just shoot some content for your website and get on cam. Obviously, I have to figure out what is most lucrative for me and that will always get most of my attention, which is SextPanther at the moment.

SextPanther is more of a real-time revenue stream, like camming is. It isn’t like a clips store or an OnlyFans that generates passive income over time, but SextPanther’s addition of the model profile feed has helped with that. So, right now that's where I concentrate most of my time.

You have to grind and put the time in if you want to be one of the top earners on SextPanther. My goal is to be one of the top three earners every month … something I have been successful in doing since joining the site over four years ago.

XBIZ: Discuss your market strategy for building a social media following. Where can fans find you on Twitter and Instagram?

Lee: In my opinion, involving your fan base and interacting with them via social media accounts is key. The content on my social platforms is always hot and sexy, but I also like to post a lot of normal everyday content on them as well. It makes your followers feel a lot closer to you, versus strictly posting photo-shoot-style content.

Unfortunately, a lot of my hard work has been undone at times, with my accounts being targeted by certain individuals and deleted numerous times. There is nothing worse than waking up to your Instagram, which had 65 thousand followers, deleted without any notice or explanation. In these situations, you just have to pick yourself up and start over. My current social media accounts are @its_brilee on Instagram and @BrianaXbiz on Twitter.

XBIZ: What other stars do you consider friends or role models in the industry?

Lee: Madison Ivy and Alexis Texas are definitely my role models in the industry, not only for the success that they’ve had, but for the outstanding work ethic they always show.

I’m lucky to have met some of the nicest people through my job and I count my blessings every day to have them in my life. Cloe SpiceNova, Cassidy Nicole and Salina Ford are examples of that, among others. It’s always nice to have people to talk to that understand what you are dealing with day in and day out.

I am also lucky to be friends with one of my role models, Masuimi Max. Her and her husband Morat have always supported me since we first met six years ago. It was an honor that she would even want to work with me at the time and now I have the honor of being able to call her a friend as well.

XBIZ: Describe the "Briana Lee" brand, as far as your vibe, aesthetic and unique interests.

Lee: I have always described myself as “the exotic girl next door.” I’m a good balance of sexiness and silliness and I’m very down to earth. I’ve never really taken myself that seriously and I just love to have fun, whether it’s on cam or whatever it is I’m doing.

I love my job and I think my fans see that in the content I produce. I am actually fluent in American Sign Language, which makes me appealing to the deaf culture. I love to sign with my fans online or in-person at conventions and appearances, and they love it as well.

I also have a love for cars, which guys dig. I can usually talk anyone under the table when it comes to that subject and it surprises a lot of people when I start rattling off stats and info on the subject of cars.

XBIZ: What camera technology and techniques do you use to capture your content?

Lee: Regarding cam, I have always been a fan of Logitech webcams, especially the C910 and C920 models. I am very active when I cam, so I like a smaller cam that I can move around a lot during my shows. I’m definitely not a cam-on-a-tripod girl, though I’m jealous of those models who are, by the way, haha. For photos and videos, I have always been a fan of Nikon cameras, but as crazy as it sounds, I actually find that the camera on the iPhone 11 works better than most SLR cameras … especially for the kind of content I prefer to shoot nowadays, which is more amateur-looking and outdoor-based content.

XBIZ: Are there any particular kinds of camming, clips or premium social media content that seem especially popular among your fans, as far as what you're most often asked to provide?

Lee: I would say the most requested clip content is squirting and JOI — jerk off instruction. After that, I would say girl-girl content would be the most popular. I find that a lot of people that just like the photo sets and videos on my OnlyFans or website are more into the girl-girl content. I have never shot any boy-girl content, so this is the next best thing.

I am very open and enjoy sharing my life with my fans, which I think is something they definitely appreciate. With that being said, I post a lot of normal, everyday content on top of my nude content to help make my fans feel included in my life. I mean, without them where would I be?!

XBIZ: How have you evolved as an adult entertainer over the years?

Lee: When I first started out with my solo site, I was strictly non-nude and was more into the modeling side of things, like the photo shoots I did with cars. After the first six months, I moved into camming as well, which I fell in love with. I found that on cam, people got to see the real me, and aside from the tits and ass, my personality turned out to be a big draw.

As my career progressed, I moved into topless modeling. It wasn’t long after that, that I started doing full nude, and after a year or two, I added toys to my content. I have found that this progression has really extended my career in the industry and I still have the option of doing boy-girl content in the future.

Nowadays, I see too many models jump into the deep end and lose their appeal after a year or two. I have been lucky and have had good people around me that help steer me in the right direction when I have needed them to. Unfortunately, not everyone has that kind of support system around them.

XBIZ: Any big goals for what's next in 2020, professionally and personally?

Lee: Professionally, I am looking to explore new platforms that are becoming available, including building my following on OnlyFans. I am also considering taking my career to the next level and making some boy-girl content. I’m sure there are a few guys out there that will be like, “Finally!” Haha. Personally, I am looking forward to carrying on with my studies and earning my second degree. I have always found learning to be fun, especially when it comes to subjects I enjoy.
