Increasing Earnings With Camming Contests

Increasing Earnings With Camming Contests

As much of the world remains in isolation for the foreseeable future, many cam sites are seeing a sudden spike in traffic. This presents performers with a unique opportunity to increase their earnings and gain a lot of new fans who may not have considered visiting a cam site otherwise.

One way to make the most of this unprecedented situation — and have some fun in the process — is to take advantage of the model contests most webcamming platforms host for their performers. These can range from placement bonuses to holiday celebrations, fun themes, and more. Some contests reward models just for doing well on the site, while others are more specific and may require a little effort. Either way, the extra income is well worth it.

Here are a few tips to help you get started:

Take Advantage of Every Contest

Many sites run contests once a month or more, so try to participate every chance you get. You’ve likely seen promos for these contests that tout huge cash prizes. For many models, these may seem out of reach, but keep in mind that even if you don’t have the type of fan base that is generally needed to win a grand prize, even taking home a small amount really adds up. $50 here and there can easily turn into an extra few thousand dollars a year. You’re already going to be online anyway, so why leave all that extra money on the table?

Utilize Your Social Media Following

Your loyal fans want to help you win, but they can’t do that if they don’t know you’re participating in a contest. Use your social media accounts to get the word out and let people know how important winning these contests is to you. Even if your social media following is small, it can still make a huge difference. Some members get so excited about helping their favorite models out that they will even promote them on their own social media accounts. I’ve seen models win huge bonuses by the smallest of margins, so even just recruiting one or two extra members can significantly increase your chances of cashing in.

Get Creative

Contests are a great way to make money, but they can also be a lot of fun. Many of the contests we host on my platform are simple and only require models to ask fans for limited-edition virtual gifts. Surprisingly enough, it’s the contests that require creativity that are the most popular, however. Our annual Halloween costume extravaganza, for example, is easily our most entered contest.

Many models plan their costumes out months in advance and go all out with extravagant hair, makeup, sexy outfits and prosthetics. They also deck their rooms out in spooky décor, which makes the contest even more fun for everyone. It’s an awesome way for performers to bring in some extra revenue and have a great time showing off their costuming skills. As a bonus, we also post the best costumes to our social media accounts, so models get even more exposure.

Take Advantage of Quarantine Traffic

Remember, a lot of new traffic is coming due to the recent quarantine. Many of these visitors may not fully understand how cam sites work, so be sure to show them how to spend money on you. Tell them about the contest and how they can help you win, whether it’s by tipping or giving you a particular virtual gift. Ask, and you shall receive!

Reward Members Who Help You Win

A little extra attention goes a long way! Send personal messages to fan club members and recent viewers to tell them about the contest, then encourage them to stop by your room and check it out. If you do win, send another message to thank those who helped you succeed. The trick is to get them even more excited about helping you the next time you decide to enter so you can steadily increase your chances of winning.
