Founder Hugh Hefner apparently has determined that Playboy’s investment in ICS Inc. was a good one. In September, Playboy invested $12 million for online distribution purposes, specifically ICS, which owns Adult.com GFY.com, RealityCash, Webmaster Access trade shows and CinemaPlay Entertainment Group.
A federal appeals court ruled Wednesday that the “good faith” required under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act to demand the shutdown of an allegedly infringing website is a subjective, rather than objective, standard of conduct.
