NETbilling President Mitch Farber said his company put merchants first.
"Our merchants are very intelligent and regularly requesting new features to help put them in the forefront of e-commerce technology," he said. "It is our goal to always give them the ability to monetize every customer to the fullest," Farber said.
The features are as follows:
Merchant Account Internal Cascading For Sales And Rebills
As banks sometimes will decline a transaction due to a backend issue, non-supported card type or technical reasons, NETbilling has implemented the ability to internally cascade declined sales/signups and rebilling attempts from one merchant account to another instantly without the customer being involved in the cascading process at all. This helps increase conversions to help NETbilling merchants maximize their profits before cascading to another processor. Of course a merchant may choose to internally cascade sales, rebills, none or both. The choice is theirs.
Expanded Multiple Currency Support
Many merchants utilize the ability to charge in native currencies. So, NETbilling has added the ability to not only support multiple currencies as in the past but to be able to load balance and prioritize multiple merchant accounts of any currency and pass the currency through the completed transaction and report to the currency type to an outside database such as one utilized by affiliate software.
Multiple Merchant Account Assignments Per Site Tag
Within one NETbilling account, you can now assign specific sites to each merchant account if you are a NETbilling merchant using multiple merchant accounts or "MIDS." This will give you the flexibility to utilize more than one merchant account and assign them to process your web sites as you see fit, which will also appease the merchant banks for approved site reasons and give you the ability to control which merchant accounts process which sites, even if you are using the account pooling and cascading features. This is all accomplished within one NETbilling account, giving merchants the ease of generating custom reports and being able to compare which banks are being most productive.
SRI Upgrade
Using the SRI API (Affiliate Link), merchants can now extract the reporting date of incoming chargebacks into the system if chargebacks are being recited to NETbilling by your merchant bank. This will be valuable if you are using for example, affiliate reporting software that you may want to import the chargebacks to be able to track affiliate fraud or for any other reason into your own database.
