LONDON — Safety technology provider VerifyMy and digital trust specialist ID x Lab have partnered for an age verification solution called AnonymAGE.
The double-blind age verification technology features a one-stop solution to comply with new adult website regulations in France.
“By Friday, April 11, all websites that display pornographic content in France, wherever in the world they are hosted, must offer visitors several ways to prove their age, including at least one ‘double-blind’ technology,” said a rep. “Those failing to do so risk being blocked or de-listed by the regulator Arcom.”
“The double-blind approach anonymizes all user identity and browsing data, ensuring porn websites do not know the identity of the person being age-checked, while the age assurance partner does not have visibility of which platform the verification is for,” the rep added.
ID x Lab Founding Chairman Jacky Lamraoui enthused about the collaboration.
