Braincash Acquires SteeleCash

MONTREAL, Canada — Affiliate program Braincash has acquired competitor SteeleCash, the affiliate program of adult film star Lexington Steele.

Under the deal, Braincash will become the exclusive sponsor for Steele and his website, LexSteele.com.

“I see this as a great union,” Steele told XBiz. “We finally have one place where consumers can access all of my content, and it takes advantage of the fact that Braincash has such a powerful position on the Internet.”

Effective immediately, Braincash will take over all of SteeleCash's operations, including its membership, sites and affiliates.

“This is something I was really looking forward to,” Braincash owner Fred Valiquette said. “We wanted to eliminate any confusion webmasters could have had in regards to Lex’s official website. It is now clear for everyone that Lex’s home on the web is Braincash.”

Steele said he believes the deal makes Braincash “unquestion the No. 1 site for interracial content,” including all video from his own production company, Mercenary Pictures.

Steele joins other major stars and studios already under the Braincash banner, including Peter North, Doghouse Digital and of single-girl sites such as Christine Young's.

Steele told XBiz he had previously turned down several lucrative video-on-demand offers from other companies but held out because he was intent on working with Braincash.

“If you’re going to put all your eggs in one basket,” he said, “you want to make sure you know who’s carrying it. The Braincash people have my trust.”

Braincash offers affiliates $35 payout per signup and 50 percent revshare as well as 40 percent on pill sales and 5 percent commission on referrals.

How Braincash will integrate SteeleCash’s assets remains undisclosed at the present. The company said it will announce details as they are worked out. Affiliates of both programs are invited to contact Braincash's support with questions about the transaction.
