LOS ANGELES — Pineapple Support is hosting a free online support group for performers and creators who are, or suspect they may be, on the autism spectrum.
The six-week “Spectrum Support Group” will be led by Pineapple Support therapist Haley O’Bryan and begins April 7 at 8 p.m. (EST). Key features of the group include sharing experiences and gaining insight on how to navigate life as a neurodivergent individual.
Sessions will last approximately one hour and will take place Wednesdays through May 12.
“This group provides a gentle, embracing space,” said O’Bryan. “Together, we will explore strategies for self-care, social interaction, and personal empowerment, all while fostering a supportive and understanding community.”
Pineapple Support founder Leya Tanit added, “We are incredibly grateful to Chaturbate for their support in launching this much-needed group. Performers on the autism spectrum face unique challenges in both their personal and professional lives. This group will offer a safe and inclusive space for them to connect, share, and receive support tailored to their needs.”
