BARCELONA, Spain — Private Media Group is planning the launch of 100 niche websites by the end of the year.
The first 50 sites will be released by fall with the remaining to be introduced by the end of ‘08. The company said the network of sites would diversify its market as well as increase the presence of Private content online.
The sites themselves, yet unnamed and unrevealed, feature content culled from Private’s vast library and will be categorized according to genres and themes.
“ The new sites have been in development for over a year and are part of the ongoing evolution and growth of Private’s global online diversification strategy,” Private’s Director of Online Media, Israel Garcia said. “In addition, [the launch] will enable us to take advantage of additional upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
Private is the world's first adult entertainment company to obtain a public listing on the NASDAQ Global Exchange. Its content is available in more than 37 countries. The company owns the worldwide rights to its extensive archive of content and licenses its Private and “Silver Girls” trademarks internationally for a select range of luxury consumer products.
