Derek Meklir Snags Playboy.com Job

CHICAGO — Playboy.com has hired Derek Meklir, who for years has helmed an excecutive position for Mr.Skin.com.

Under his new role, Meklir will manage Playboy.com’s relationships with key content, e-commerce and distribution partners.

Meklir will remain in an advisory role for AdultWhosWho.com before starting his position for Playboy.com next month.

“I could not be more excited,” Meklir told XBIZ.

“I leave MrSkin.com with the highest respect for the company and its employees but the time was right to find a new professional challenge and expand into new lines of business," Meklir said. "SK Intertainment is going to have many amazing years to come and although I have mixed feelings about leaving, I am delighted that I will be interacting with them in my new role at Playboy.”

Mr. Skin issued the following statement, “I couldn’t be happier for Derek, personally and professionally. We discussed how this would affect both parties positively, and I fully support his decision to move on to Playboy. They have gained a great asset with Derek joining their team.”

SK Intertainment Inc. is the parent company of MrSkin.com. MrSkinCash.com is the affiliate program for the site. MrSkin.com is the company’s flagship site, which specializes in celebrity nudity.

All outside parties working with MrSkin.com who need a new contact at SK Intertainment Inc., can reach out through Meklir’s email address or call their main number at (773) 269-3400 and it will be routed accordingly.
