XBIZ Hollywood Kicks Off With Packed Welcome Reception

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. – The XBIZ Hollywood '08 Conference kicked off last night with a packed house, as attendees celebrated the start of another successful show with never-ending drinks and good friends.

Thanks to DHD Media, NetCash, Silvercash and Video Secrets, webmasters, producers and other top players in the business shared wine, cocktails and stories as they chatted about the first day's events, which included the widely popular first-ever speed networking workshop, sponsored by AdultWhosWho.com.

Lori Z. of the Adult Broker told XBIZ she was very impressed with how the first day went, and was even more excited about the speed networking seminar, saying she not only met potential clients, but also some new friends.

Stockroom.com's Mario Moralez and Andrea Mata said that the opening reception was one of the best trade show parties they've been to, as it was relaxed enough to sit back with drinks and populated by all the industry members they work with every day.

"It was a great opportunity to meet face-to-face with people whom I've only had the pleasure of doing business with over the phone," Mata said. "I had a great time."

As the night went on, attendees geared up for the approaching Cybersocket Awards and eagerly awaited seeing who would win and what they would be wearing. And even after the awards were long over, Ritual Supper Club remained surprisingly packed well into the early hours of the morning.
