Jordan and Steele first forged a bond when Jordan shot “Heavy Metal” for Pleasure Productions label, Rosebud. That relationship continued when Jordan moved on to Evil Angel and began the “Lex the Impaler” series.
Steele also has appeared in various other Jordan-directed titles, such as “Flesh Hunter 7,” “Gina Lynn’s Darkside” and “Invasian.”
“Lex the Impaler 3” stars Jenna Haze, Brianna Love, Shyla Stylez, Nadia Styles and one other girl yet to be cast. The title is scheduled for February release.
“Lex and I have remained good friends for many years, so when he approached me to do something it immediately clicked,” Jordan told XBIZ. “The movies Lex was in during my Evil Angel days were some of my biggest releases. It was perfect timing.
“The scenes are even more explosive than planned. I’m just giving the fans what they want. Lex still brings the goods in a big way. Lex really only works for his company so it was a privilege to collaborate with him again for this movie.”
In other Jules Jordan Video news, the company has announced the hiring of Scott Justice to the position of general manager. The seven-year industry veteran held the same title at Sin City until his departure in late-December.
Jordan is particularly pleased with Justice’s hire because it will give him more time to concentrate on what he does best — make movies.
“I was getting bogged down with administrative work,” Jordan said. “He knows every aspect of production, distribution and daily administration, so when he became available I knew it would be a good fit. The company has grown to the point where it has become absolutely necessary that I find someone to fill the role. This hire allows me time to do more creative things.”
Jordan also mentioned Justice’s expertise in broadcast and cable TV sales, connections he will put to use in his new role with the company.
Justice can be reached at (800) 787-5053, or via email at scott@julesjordanvideo.com.
