This feature article appears in the May 2025 issue of X3 magazine, dedicated to capturing the genuine personalities, passions, and stories of emerging and established stars. X3 is published by XBIZ Media.
Clad in futuristic, form-fitting black, Violet Myers looks like a character from “The Matrix” or the heroine of some “Blade Runner” reboot, trapped in a glowing virtual-reality maze.
Once the photo shoot is over, though, she is abruptly transformed. Just a few minutes later, emerging almost sheepishly from her dressing room, she is clad in comfy pink athletic wear and snacking on some Pirate’s Booty.
Despite the stark contrast, both versions are authentically Myers. This woman clearly contains multitudes.
“I love Japanese street style!” she enthuses, becoming increasingly animated as she elaborates on her inspo for the session. “They really know how to dress and they don’t care what people think about them. They wear whatever they think is badass.
“It’s very important for me to be badass,” she confides. “With a sexy ‘I don’t give a fuck’ attitude.”
Though sometimes a bit shy, Myers is nonetheless plainspoken and self-assured, with a soft power that shines through while she speaks. It’s clear from the jump that she is both self-aware and comfortable with being exactly who she is.
“I live for me,” she states simply. “Not for everyone else.”
Expressing Herself — With Her Clothes On
That attitude is clearly working for her. With 2.4 million followers on Instagram, 1.5 million on TikTok, a YouTube channel with more than 400,000 subscribers and 92,000 followers for her video game streaming on Twitch, Myers has achieved massive success not only in the adult industry but on social media. Earlier this year, she was crowned 2025 XMA Premium Social Creator of the Year. She was also named Pornhub’s Favorite Social Media Personality for 2023 and 2024, and is up for the title again this year.
“I’m a traditional content creator,” she explains. “But in addition to porn, I also make content that’s safe for work and highlights my personality. Social media is where I can express myself with my clothes on!”
Apparently, this has been a long time coming.
“I always dreamed of being a YouTuber but didn’t know how to start,” Myers admits. “I’ve been vlogging since high school.”
Now, deftly leveraging her adult fan base and online visibility for maximum reach, Myers gets to showcase her offscreen identity and the things she loves — everything from unboxing and mukbang food-tasting videos to advice segments, “get ready with me” videos, comedic TikTok shorts and talking about her career, food and all things geek.
“Animated, nerdy, a lot of personality and quirky with a dark sense of humor,” is how she summarizes her brand. If you wanted to cook up your own Violet Myers in a lab, she adds, you’d need “a big-booty Latina, nerdy, foodie — and throw in some shy.”
“I like to show people I’m a normal person,” she says. “I love sex but it’s not something that defines me. I want to show that sex workers are just like anyone else.”
Indeed, Myers seems not much different in person and one-on-one, except maybe a bit more soft-spoken than she is on her socials. Her humble and self-effacing nature has a way of drawing attention without overwhelming you with the thirsty “Pick me!” energy of so many influencers.
So what is the X factor that consistently brings people to her content and socials?
“I have a dry sense of humor,” she observes. “It’s not intentional, but every time I do anything with my sense of humor it goes viral. So that must mean I’m funny? I’m also on my phone a lot, so I like to be a real-life meme. That’s how I’d describe my personality. I love memes. I’m a meme kid.”
Just don’t hold your breath waiting to see her in any TikTok dance challenges.
“I don’t like dancing,” Myers admits. “I can barely shake my ass!”
Myers’ underlying silliness is evident in her fondness for videos of AI-generated cats navigating life’s travails to the tune of an all-meowing version of the Billie Eilish hit “What Was I Made For?” She also stans for Shawty Bae.
“She is hilarious,” Myers declares. “She’s not even a comedian, but everything she does makes me laugh.”
She also does not pull punches when sharing her least favorite social media trends.
“My biggest pet peeve is bad comedy skits with porn stars and comedians,” she says. “I want to start a media company to help creators enter that space without it being so cringe.”
Another big part of her social media programming: the culinary arts. A die-hard foodie, Myers loves doing cooking segments and tastings that highlight different cuisines.
“If I had to choose three foods to eat for the rest of my life: tacos, pizza and sushi,” she declares. “If I could do anything I wanted, I’d be a pizza-ologist and travel the world sampling pizza. But I care too much about my health. I wish I could eat a fried chicken sandwich every day but I want to live a long, healthy life!”
Queen of the Geeks
Of course, Myers is also very keyed into the internet and pop culture. Embracing her various fandoms and subcultures has helped her connect more deeply with her fans, bolstered her social media success, and doubtless also helps drive some of those new fans to her adult content — a win for everyone.
Even her name is entrenched in pop culture and revealing of her quirks and sensibilities. “Violet” was one of Hole’s early and most recognizable songs.
“If you listen to that song, that was me in high school,” Myers shares. “I was an emo kid. I even had an emo kid birthday party this year.”
“Myers,” meanwhile, has two different origins.
“‘Halloween’ is my favorite movie of all time, and I also love ‘Shrek,’” she shares. “So it’s Mike Myers and Michael Myers.”
A self-admitted horror girly, Myers admits feeling some sympathy for her namesake.
“Michael Myers, I always felt so bad for him,” she says. “I just think he’s so cute, you know? Aside from the killing part! Growing up, I was very into horror. Then even more when I became a psychology major.”
Actually appearing in a horror flick is near the top of Myers’ bucket list.
“Being in a horror movie is one of my lifetime goals,” she fangirls. “I want to play the first character to die. Those are always the best parts in the movie. Like in the ‘Scream’ movies.”
Myers is also a big-time anime fan. Her favorites include “Mob Psycho 100,” “Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid” and “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure.”
“I love the fact that it’s an emotional journey watching the character development,” she says of JoJo. “Anime characters have this relatability. But it’s also a great escape from reality. I don’t relate to a lot of humans! So when I watch anime, I sometimes connect to the characters more.”
Myers’ love of anime has inspired some of her cosplaying, both at anime conventions and in her adult work.
“I love doing cosplay photo shoots and my fans love to see me as their favorite anime characters,” she says. “But I only like to cosplay as characters from shows I’ve actually watched! I love when cosplayers put every single detail into their looks, I truly admire that.
“Even if they didn’t watch the show!” she laughs.
So, which anime character best sums her up?
“I love Rem from ‘Re:Zero,’” Myers says. “I’ve cosplayed her. She’s a very shy character and very submissive, which is similar to my personality. Of course, she’s a little demon character but I’m the opposite: I’m an angel.”
A Head for Business, An Eye on What’s Next
Being a bit submissive has not prevented Myers from firmly taking charge of her adult career. But then, Myers is nothing if not multifaceted.
“It’s a business,” she stresses. “I wanted to get into the industry. I saw that you have to have a brand. That’s what a lot of people misunderstand about the industry. I’m successful because I take it seriously.”
Myers is very much a businesswoman, with an eye toward producing and shooting her own porn.
“Some people want to show up on set and be told what to do, but I’m good at being in charge,” she smiles. “I’m not a follower. I’m an oldest child so I’m meant to be bossy. I want to get to a point in my career where I can be behind the camera and not just be a performer. Similar to what Kayden Kross does. She sometimes jumps in front of the camera but she’s also in charge.”
Myers’ practical business focus made her quick to create branded merch. What started with just T-shirts has since become an entire suite of products like apparel, mugs and prints, as well as brand collabs and her own adult products.
As her biggest career inspiration, Myers credits a certain reality starlet-turned-media icon.
“I love Kim Kardashian,” she says. “She started from a sex tape and now she owns a billion-dollar clothing industry. I admire that.”
Myers cites fellow adult stars as influences as well.
“I look up to Riley Reid and Lisa Ann because they’re business-oriented,” she affirms. “They didn’t just perform; they did things outside the industry to make a name for themselves.
“You can build a legacy on more than just porn,” she proclaims. “Maintaining a business mindset means building up my brand and using my name to profit and have longevity. I want to do something with it.”
Increasing Latina Visibility
One thing Myers is hoping to do with her celebrity has less to do with profit than with something else that is important to her: representation.
“Representation means a lot to me,” she says. “Growing up, I didn’t have that. I obviously was surrounded by Latinos and Latinas, but outside of LA and in the media, I didn’t find that. It was hard to find someone similar to who I am. I didn’t have anyone to look up to.”
Her hope is that her visibility on social media can help bring other Latina performers into the limelight, or at least provide a much-needed sense of feeling seen.
“Fame scares me a little bit, but that’s why I wanted to do this: to bring visibility to the Latino community,” she explains. “I could have just done porn and not cared about social media, but I want to be visible now so that people can see I’m very proud of my culture and my roots. I’m Mexican and Salvadoreña. I find inspiration every day from it.”
Myers hopes to inspire other women to believe they, too, can do it.
“Obviously there are a lot of girls who look like me, but they’re in the shadows,” she says. “If there’s some big-booty, big-titty Latina searching for someone like herself on Pornhub, I want her to believe she can do it and be on the same level as me, or be even bigger.”
Myers’ attitude of gratitude really shines through as she says this.
“Especially in an industry that’s predominantly white, being in the position I’m in means a lot to me,” she emphasizes. “Because it shows you can get into these positions and roles in life, when you believe in yourself.”
Family Values
In addition to increasing visibility for Latina performers in the industry, Myers’ success has enabled her to do something else she always dreamed of.
“My favorite accomplishment has been buying my family a house,” she reveals. “My wish was always to bring them to a bigger place. I still can’t believe I did that.”
Myers was born in East Los Angeles — and despite becoming one of today’s most popular adult performers, that’s where her heart remains.
“I rep LA so hard,” she admits. “It’s all I know.”
She also remains very family-oriented, and credits the love and support of her family as one of the key ingredients that make the secret sauce of her success.
“A lot of people like to assume, because of what I do, that I don’t have a family,” she says. “But whenever I’m not working, I like to hang out with my family.”
That strong connection helps Myers stay grounded and maintain a healthy relationship to her ambition.
“They make me more humble and normal,” she says. “You can definitely lose yourself in the industry if you don’t have a great support system at home.”
Myers’ mother in particular has been super supportive.
“My mom had me when she was a teenager,” Myers shares. “All she’s ever wanted for me is a long, happy life. She is very accepting.
“She was a single parent and my dad was in jail,” she adds. “He was a cholo and due to the system, he wasn’t around. He was a victim of the three-strikes law.”
Despite her own reticent nature, the young Myers was always the first to jump in to protect others.
“I would be the one standing up to the bullies at school,” she recalls. “If someone was being a bully to someone, I’d talk my shit and tell them to shut up.”
That caretaking instinct still runs deep in Myers, who confesses, “I would love to be a humanitarian and help single mothers, and with prison reform, homelessness, immigration and equality.”
She doesn’t rule out someday starting her own family.
“Maybe,” she reflects. “I have a motherly instinct. As I’ve gotten older and more successful, I’d like to pass something on to a nepo baby.”
Myers also thinks of herself as very spiritual.
“I believe in God and Jesus,” she affirms. “That’s what keeps me going every day and keeps me down to earth — having that belief.
“I’m also Hispanic!” she laughs. “It’s really common.”
A Violet Vision of the Future
In addition to her aspirations on the other side of the camera, Myers’ other future ambitions are as varied as her current interests and projects.
“Maybe a DJ set would be cute,” she ponders. “I’d love to do a Ted Talk. I’d love to write a book about my career and do a documentary. My life is very interesting!”
As for what she’s currently working on, the business maven has quite a few projects in the pipeline.
“I’m working on a manga, and a selfie book — a look into my life in adult.”
Additionally, she has more branded merch on the way. Notably, while there is already a Violet Myers Fleshlight, she is collaborating with the creators of that popular self-stimulator to target another sector of the pleasure market.
“We’re creating dildos!” she enthuses.
“I know: a female porn star creating dildos,” she laughs. “But I hear a bunch of complaints and I want to try and give fans what they really want.”
That’s another recurring theme for Myers: appreciation for the people who helped her get to where she is today.
“I love my fans,” she states simply. “I look forward to seeing them when conventions happen. I love being able to physically hug them and talk to them in person — and thank them for all their support in getting me to this position. Because they really believed in me.”
When it comes to describing Violet Myers, “multifaceted” turns out to be a serious understatement. She’s a direct badass who shoots from the hip, but also someone who truly loves and appreciates other people for doing what they do. Her consistency and candor have earned her plenty of internet street cred, while her business savvy has enabled her to turn being herself and relishing all the things she loves into massive success — all while remaining the approachable, humble and shy person she has always been underneath.
As she finishes our interview and walks away, she glances down at her now-depleted bag of Pirate’s Booty.
“I guess I’m eating ass!” she cracks cheekily.
She gives a knowing wink that sums up her quirky sense of humor, and then she’s off.
