CCBill Offers Traffic Management System

TEMPE, Ariz. – Internet Payment Service Provider (IPSP) CCBill.com has released its new Traffic Management System, a cascading billing solution that allows merchants to use multiple processors.

In a cascading billing system, declined transaction requests are passed from the primary processor to subordinate processors; passing through the chain until the transaction is accepted.

According to CCBill, the new system offers "a customizable billing solution that allows clients to structure their transaction processing flow with multiple processors, payment types and pricing options."

Beyond its cascading abilities, the Traffic Management System integrates seamlessly with the CCBill affiliate system and allows merchants to credit referrals regardless of which processor handled the transaction; allowing continued automatic affiliate payouts directly through the CCBill account.

"This cascading functionality can noticeably improve a client's bottom line by increasing the total percentage of approved transactions and reducing the number of chargebacks," said Ron Cadwell, CCBill's CEO. "And, any CCBill Affiliate who refers a transaction to a CCBill Traffic Manager Client will still receive payment for the referral from CCBill, regardless of who processes the transaction."

The release comes as good news for clients that run affiliate programs using CCBill's popular referral system, but have longed for the enhanced features of more robust third-party cascading and affiliate management products.

The CCBill Traffic Management System is a free value-added service for CCBill clients and does not require using CCBill as the cascade's primary processor. Client's can set up and customize their Traffic Management System via the CCBill System5 Admin.
