Theresa Flynt Joins ASACP Advisory Council

LOS ANGELES — Hustler executive Theresa Flynt has joined the ASACP Advisory Council.

“I have always been so impressed with Theresa’s business savvy and I am grateful she jumped in at the last minute to participate in the press conference announcing the RTA Restricted to Adults website label,” ASACP Executive Director Joan Irvine told XBIZ. "It demonstrated her willingness to rally together with the industry to support a good cause and her participation in the Advisory Council is another example of this."

The Advisory Council is made up of adult industry leaders who volunteer their time and expertise to help direct ASACP’s efforts and resources. Advisory Council members represent different industry segments and provide input on pertinent issues including strategic planning, business practices, technology, service development, government outreach and marketing.

Flynt holds a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from Mount Saint Mary’s College and oversaw the design, building and day-to-day operations of the Hustler Hollywood stores. She has been Hustler’s executive vice president of licensing and brand development and also led Hustler Video’s marketing division. She has been featured in O — The Oprah Magazine, Playgirl, Los Angeles Magazine, Glamour U.K. and XBIZ World.

“I am excited to join forces with the other advisory council members from XBIZ, AVN, TrafficDude, Epoch, Cybersocket and Moss Consulting in order to work together with a common goal to protect children,” Flynt said.

Founded in 1996, the Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection is a nonprofit organization dedicated to eliminating child pornography from the Internet. ASACP also works to help parents prevent children from viewing age-inappropriate material online.
