WebBilling Releases Tiger Version

AMSTERDAM — European direct debit payments services provider WebBilling.com has released its Tiger API, which the company claims provides for easier, more efficient implementation and speedier processing times.

The new API refines and simplifies the implementation process for merchant/clients choosing to host their own join page.

WebBilling.com is one of the few platforms that allows merchant clients to use the WebBilling join page or host their own EU direct debit join page, and one of a very few that allow merchants to place their own content on the join page.

WebBilling.com offers a customized platform for EU direct debit, with a 10-year negative database available for Spain, Netherlands, Germany and Austria, with Belgium pending banking system approvals and the U.K. approved and undergoing final technical refinements.

This “pull” system of direct debit billing provides many advantages of credit card billing, including instant access, recurring, free/multiple free trials, cross sales, upsells, pay-per-anything, pin call security, plus the optional secure pin mainly for high-cost content cam sites and hard goods sales.

A collections department designed specifically for the adult market also is offered.

Billing is done in euros and, according to the company, the euro is predicted to remain at a plus-45 percent premium to the dollar for the next two years — providing a highly attractive exchange rate for operators using direct debit billing.
