Social Kink Travels, Hosts Events Coast-to-Coast

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Though new on the scene, fetish-geared social networking site SocialKink.com has made itself part of the American kink scene, hosting coast-to-coast parties in the month of October.

SocialKink.Com made its debut in August, quietly gaining converts to the site thanks to fetish-friendly networking features and a welcoming atmosphere, the company said. After visits to the Folsom Street Fair in San Francisco and the Skin Two Rubber Ball in London, SocialKink was able to join forces with other well-established fetish organizations, lending its sponsorship to some high-profile fetish events.

On the west coast, SocialKink lent its name, its people and its specialty swag to Bondage-A-Go-Go, an event that takes place every Wednesday night at the Glass Kat in San Francisco. The SocialKink group, comprised of Site Manager Nikki Nefarious, marketing executive Spider and advertising executive DeVille, followed up their appearance at Bondage-A-Go-Go with their sponsorship of Exotic Erotic Ball's legendary Fetish Stage.

"Sponsoring Exotic Erotic Ball lent us more than we imagined," Nefarious said. "Not only did it afford us great publicity and business contacts, it also allowed us a venue to get up close and personal with real people interested in all things kink — which of course is the most important thing to us.”

"I was very impressed by the welcome we received from the San Francisco fetish community," Spider said. "They were warm, friendly and incredibly proactive. I'm thrilled to add them to my own extended family."

"It’s a great feeling to be able to meet people in real life and then continue that relationship through SocialKink.com," Nefarious said. "It’s like we are building our own happy family."

Meanwhile, on the east coast, SocialKink also sponsored Purgatory XXXIV, one of the most popular fetish events in the Southeast. The site will also be hosting the next Purgatory, scheduled for next month, an event Nefarious will be attending. She also will perform a bondage demonstration there.

"Being involved in these sorts of events allows us to be where our people are," Nefarious said. "We aren’t trying to advertise or sell a product, we are simply living our lives and bringing like-minded people together the best way we know how."
