"People have been coming in and saying it's a lot closer to them," Paul said. "It's convenient. There are a lot of offices and studios in the area. Over here you can get stuff done."
Founded in 1998, Adult Industry Medicare Healthcare Foundation is a nonprofit corporation "created to care for the physical and emotional needs of sex workers and the people who work in the adult entertainment industry."
The foundation offers HIV and STD testing and treatment, counseling and support-group programs to the sex worker community. According to the foundation website, "Our goal is to provide health care for the body, mind, emotion and spirit."
