“Both Tim and Dawn have contributed so much to ASACP. They have truly given of themselves in order to help us to achieve our mission,” Executive Director Joan Irvine said. “I am excited about their vision for ASACP and in their new capacities I know they will help us to be even more effective in the future.”
Henning was the first employee of the ASACP and has been with the nonprofit since 1996. Prior to his new position, Henning had run the organization’s online child pornography reporting hotline, supervised the website and membership, and all technical matters.
In the 11 years that Henning has manned the ASACP’s hotline, reports have grown from less than 15 a day, to a current daily average of 150 reports.
“What drives me to continue doing the job is the possibility that it will help save children and bring some of the criminals responsible for these horrific crimes to justice,” Henning said.
Henning also is a member of the Financial Coalition Against Child Pornography —Analytics Working Group (FCACP-AWG).
“FCACP’s goal is to end child pornography in 2008 and I’m proud of the work we are accomplishing,” he said.
Dawn Yagielowicz is the mother of three and a longtime ASACP supporter and volunteer. In 2006, Yagielowicz joined the ASACP staff and has been responsible for continually monitoring member websites for compliance issues, as well as working closely with sponsors and supporters to facilitate their membership process.
“I really enjoy working for ASACP and truly feel honored and privileged to be a part of such a dedicated team,” Yagielowicz said. “Executive Director Joan Irvine’s enthusiasm is inspiring — the team always ready to help and the sponsors and supporters are among the best people in the business — sure, it almost sounds like a commercial, but I deeply care about ASACP and sincerely support its mission.”
