The all-day open house will be held at the Apple Business Center at 2400 Broadway, Ste. 210, in Santa Monica, Calif.
It is the third event in a series, according to FVS owner Jeff Stansfield, and the workshops primarily are aimed at adult industry members seeking out new trends in production and Internet technology.
“We do these little seminars on new technologies and bring them face-to-face with the manufacturers; if they have a lot of questions, a lot of times it’s hard for people in our industry to meet with people,” Stansfield told XBIZ.
“It creates a venue to look at new technologies — a lot of times you can’t make it to the big conventions because you don’t have time or it’s expensive. This brings it to a venue that’s close to them. They can see new things and ask questions, and see what’s out there.”
Featured vendors will include Apple, Qlogic, Larry Jordan Associates, Recipe 4 DVD, Ripple Training, Studio Network Solutions, Sonic Fire Pro Intelligent Assistance, Weynand Training, Sony, JL Cooper Electronics, Msoft, Red Giant Software, MAXON Computer, Marketec vendor rep company and others.
The day will start at 10:30 a.m. with an opening seminar presented by Sony, followed by workshops by Advantage Video Systems, Studio Network Solutions, Qlogic, Recipe 4 DVD, Ripple Training and Intelligent Assistance.
A catered lunch will be provided from 12:30-2 p.m., and seminars given by Weynand Training, JL Cooper Electronics, Msoft, Marketec vendor Rep Company, CINEMA 4D/BodyPaint 3D (MAXON Computer), Larry Jordan Associates and Sonic Fire Pro (Smart Sounds) will finish out the day.
FVS provides consulting and business services for the adult industry including solutions for post/production, corporate, Internet camera and broadcast markets that want a professional solution to their technology needs.
