For The Girls Crowns Competition Winners

BRISBANE, Australia — Women’s erotica site ForTheGirls.com, which offers a mix of erotic photos, movies, stories and articles, has announced the winners of their third Erotic Fiction Competition. This year the theme was "discovery."

The winning story, "Kindling for the Flame," depicts the first sexual encounter between a young couple, as remembered many years later. The judges said the story "embraced the theme of discovery in a beautiful and positive way ... the writer perfectly invokes the moment and allows the reader to feel every sensation and every emotion."

The runner-up piece follows the distinctly steamy adventures of a blind woman experimenting with pegging her male lover at an orgy, according to the company, and the third winner is an unusual literary tale of a mutual masturbation session.

The competition ran for two months and judges received more than 60 entries.

"Erotic fiction is a great way for women to discover new aspects of their sexuality," said Karen Jones, webmistress of For The Girls. "We wanted our fiction competition to reflect that idea — the urge to explore and find new things. Many straight women want to experience erotic material but the world of porn can still be a confronting place. For The Girls has always been about helping women to enjoy erotica in a female-friendly space."

The three winning stories, plus another 10 honorable mention stories will be published on the site. All winners received cash prizes plus a month’s membership to For The Girls.
