“I first met Michelle during the FSC hiring process and obviously everyone was impressed with her capabilities - she was hired to be the executive director,” Irvine said. “After attending a few FSC Board meetings that she facilitated, I was even more impressed.”
Freridge holds a master’s degree in public administration has several years’ experience in program management, event coordination and writing grant proposals for non-profits.
As the FSC representative on the ASACP advisory council, Freridge will be tasked with providing input and voting on decisions.
“Each member brings their own area of expertise to ASACP,” Irvine said. “ASACP is a growing association, which means more formalized procedures. Michelle brings this type of expertise to the advisory council. Her fundraising, policy advocacy and organization development skills will help ASACP achieve its goals in 2005.”
ASACP is an organization designed to help the online adult community fight against child pornography. It offers professional business practice guidelines, reports child pornography sites to government organizations and helps the online adult community regulate itself.
