Detour Interactive Adds Incentive to ASACP

LOS ANGELES – Detour Interactive announced this week that it will offer an added incentive to webmasters who join the adult industry's battle against child exploitation by signing up as a supporter of Adult Sites Against Child Pornography. The offer will run through 2005, Detour Interactive's President Danielle Simons said.

Detour Interactive, a promotions and marketing company, will offer free marketing for anyone who joins ASCAP's revised supporter program, which was recently lowered in price. The incentive is intended to boost ASACP's membership roster of adult companies and professionals by offering a bonus of free press release distribution through Detour Interactive's promotional resources.

“This is my own personal way of supporting an organization that I feel very strongly about," Simons said. “By offering webmasters an extra incentive to becoming members, we hope to help aid in the growth of the ASACP."

The terms of the incentive include one week of press release distribution to all industry resource sites or message boards if a member signs up for ASACP's Supporter Level; a two-week press release distribution to all industry resource sites or boards for the Guardian Level membership; a four-week distribution to resource sites or boards with a Crusade Level membership; and four weeks of distribution to all resource sites and boards for an Executive Level membership.

"ASACP wishes to thank Detour Interactive for their generous support," ASACP Executive Director Joan Irvine told XBiz. "ASACP, as one would expect, devotes its time to child protection issues. We didn't have the resources to have our press releases distributed to all the webmaster resources and over all the major boards until Danielle Simons donated her company's services. This will be very helpful to both ASACP and the industry. Plus, it coincided with the introduction of the revised ASACP Supporter program."

New members with ASACP receive validation of links to the organization's website as well as verification with compliance of the ASACP Code of Ethics.
