Pineapple Support Launches Performer Burnout Group

LOS ANGELES — Pineapple Support will host a free, six-week online support group with a focus on helping performers fight burnout.

The "Preventing and Recovering from Burnout" support group, led by Pineapple Support therapist Alicia Graham, will start on Tuesday at 1 p.m. (PST) and run for six weeks. Five additional weekly sessions will take place on successive Tuesdays at the same time, except for holidays. Each session will last for approximately one hour.

“When we don’t process our stress, it can add up until we reach a state of burnout,” said Graham. “In this group, we’ll discuss research-based strategies for preventing burnout, as well as recovering from it if you’re already there. Join us to learn how to build resilience and protect your well-being in a safe and accepting space.”

Pineapple Support founder Leya Tanit added, “Life can be stressful, often even more so for content creators. This group will provide an accepting, compassionate space to share, connect and get support to manage the stressors in your life. Burnout can affect everyone, so learning the signs to identify it, as well as strategies to overcome it will have concrete benefits for your mental health and well-being.”
