LOS ANGELES — Grooby has joined over 60 adult businesses and organizations committing funds and resources to Pineapple Support.
“I am impressed with the progress Pineapple Support has made over the last few years and seeing how dedicated their staff were at the recent shows,” owner and founder Steven Grooby said. “We are very involved in mental health and welfare as a company and we’re happy to help support Pineapple to have a wider reach into all the areas of the industry.”
Founded in 2018 by Leya Tanit, Pineapple Support has so far connected over 10,000 adult performers and industry members to mental health services, including free and low-cost therapy, counseling and emotional support.
"Grooby has been an advocate for the care and support of models for years, and I’m glad to be able to work with them," said Tanit. "Thanks to their incredibly generous support, we can not only reach more models, we can develop programs and workshops that better address the needs of transgender performers — a vital part of our community who nevertheless face stigma and discrimination even within our industry. Thank you to the Grooby team for being such a transformative force in our journey towards empowerment and well-being."
