LOS ANGELES — Wicked Sensual Care has unveiled a new set of Simply Aqua Special Edition reseller resources in preparation for Pride in June.
The company is offering new promotional assets in the form of Simply Aqua Special Edition packets, giveaways for events and a forthcoming retail display contest.
Founded in September 2021, Wicked Sensual Care donates a portion of all sales of its Simply Aqua Special Edition to charitable organizations serving the LGBTQ+ community. According to the company, to date nearly $35,000 has been contributed to organizations such as the Marsha P. Johnson Institute, the Trevor Project, Trans Lifeline, APLA, Trans Santa, Black and Pink, Immigration Equality, Tending the Garden and more.
Maximizing Simply Aqua Special Edition sales at the retail level, a rep explained, “will provide critical support for those dedicated to bettering the lives of LGBTQ+ individuals and raise awareness about the systemic inequalities facing the LGBTQ+ population.”
“Our sentiment this year is to be yourself,” the rep said. “While we’re able to celebrate because many hard-fought battles have been won, LGBTQ+ rights are still under attack today, just as reproductive rights are. Conservative media, in particular, is increasingly focused on ‘culture wars’ targeting LGBTQ+ education and issues, particularly those impacting the trans community. Trans rights are human rights, and it is incumbent on us to provide resources and support to those who cannot be out. You are seen. You are valued. We’re proud — and empathetic — year-round.”
Wicked Sensual Care Director of Sales Jennifer Brice noted that retailers serve communities made up of people from many different backgrounds.
“I’m very happy to see them ensure their workforce reflects the diverse nature of these communities,” she said. “This includes their lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer-plus employees and, of course, customers. We’re excited to make special assets available to our retail and distribution partners, and we encourage them to get their orders for Aqua Special Edition in early for Pride month, so they can keep their inventories replenished ... and join us on our journey as we support LGBTQ+ organizations.”
