LOS ANGELES — Lovense has released the results of a survey asking 2,000 respondents if they felt their relationships were in a rut.
“One in four Americans is currently experiencing a relationship rut,” said a rep. “Even more telling — 26% say their partnership could use a refresh, underscoring the need for deeper connection and emotional intimacy.”
Twenty-four percent of those in serious relationships admit to fantasizing about other partners. Of those, 63% worry that these intimacy issues could eventually end their relationship. However, 62% are working on improving their communication, 43% are trying new experiences, and 11% are turning to technology to bring excitement back into the bedroom.
Lovense CEO Dan Liu commented on the findings.
“Technology is not about replacing human connection,” he said. “It's about enhancing it, keeping things fresh, and helping couples rediscover that spark — whether they’re together or apart.”
