Domino Presley Celebrates 2022 TEAs 'Lifetime Achievement' Honor

LAS VEGAS — Domino Presley is celebrating her "Lifetime Achievement" recognition from the 2022 Trans Erotica Awards (TEAs).

Presley also served as this year's Mistress of Ceremonies. The honor was presented by Grooby producer Buddy Wood, past TEAs "Lifetime Achievement" recipient Natassia Dreams, TEAs executive producer Kristel Penn and "RuPaul's Drag Race" alums Mariah Balenciaga and Nicole Paige Brooks.

"Hosting the awards, I would say 98% of the show ran smoothly. Performing with [musical guest] Alissah during the opening performance was the most nerve-wracking part. The second they secretly plopped me onstage in those oversized sweats with a costume change underneath, I thought to myself, 'Well, you can't really back out now,'" Presley recalled.

"Alissah and I have been rehearsing for three months, and she created the visual backdrops herself. I honestly feel like this was the best show to date," she continued. "There was good music, beautiful trans men and women and nonbinary people everywhere, some pretty incredible speeches and multiple outfit changes between Natassia, Aubrey Kate and myself."

"I really love how seriously the TEAs are now taken and how big of an event it's become," Presley added. "I'm so thankful to [executive producer] Steven [Grooby] and Kristel for allowing me to serve as the TEAs Mistress of Ceremonies for my fourth year in a row."

"I was so honored to receive one of the 'Lifetime Achievement' awards this year,” she said. “I've been relevant for over a decade, which is something to be proud of. It's also very nice to have gotten some acknowledgment and credit for the work I've done behind these scenes and not just for showing my hole and collecting followers.”
