LOS ANGELES — Reigning XBIZ "Best New Performer" Kenzie Anne has been crowned the 2021 Penthouse Pet of the Year. The starlet is featured in the January/February edition of the magazine, titled "The Pet of the Year Issue."
"Pet of the Year 2021! I’m so emotional over this," she enthused on social media. "The celebration, the people who put the time into making this happen, my Penthouse family. It’s an honor to represent this company."
“I had Penthouse Pet [photo] spreads taped to the back of my bedroom door. It’s always been a dream," she added.
Kenzie Anne began modeling full time 10 years ago and gradually explored camming before stepping into studio shoots.
“I loved being a camgirl," she recalled. “It’s what opened my mind to the adult entertainment world and helped shape who I am. I didn’t grow up as a spoiled child, and my parents always taught me the value of a dollar. I am working to support myself for the rest of my life and set myself up for success every step of the way."
Penthouse CEO Moose cited hard work and motivation as key factors in determining the Pet of the Year.
"Kenzie’s drive, determination and work ethic are exactly what we look for to represent the Penthouse image. We are honored to name her our Pet of the Year," he said.
Penthouse VP Drew Rosenfield added, "We are all extremely proud of Kenzie Anne and very excited for her, as this is really big marker for any model's career. She brings a sense of class and beauty to the Penthouse brand. From all of us at Penthouse, congratulations!"
Kenzie Anne's agent, Ryan Kona of Motley Models, described the coronation as "a well-deserved honor."
"Kenzie has proven in her early career that she is already a force to be reckoned with. The industry has never seen a first year like this out of any performer in its history, and surely never will again," Kona said. "Kenzie’s love and attention to detail she puts into her work makes her a cut above the rest."
Motley Models owner Dave Rock added, "We couldn’t be more proud of Kenzie. I know achieving this honor was a big goal of hers, and she makes those happen, like David Beckham. Her runway model looks, stunning figure and infectious personality make her a perfect fit for carrying on the extreme honor of being Pet of the Year. Not sure if Penthouse will have a Pet of the Decade, but she’d be a lock for that, too.”
Penthouse Director of Pet Projects Sam Phillips predicts "a bright future" for the star.
"In one year Miss Kenzie Anne has taken the adult industry by storm in tsunami-sized proportions, snatching up every award she's been nominated for, including our prized title," Phillips declared. "Kenzie Anne epitomizes the grace, glamour and beauty of what it takes to be crowned our queen, all while representing the Penthouse brand with the class and distinction of a superstar ambassador."
"There are so many remarkable reasons she captured our highest honor, but we also must thank her fans for making their voices heard," added Phillips. "I personally couldn't be more proud of her extraordinary achievements and I expect many more from her in the future. Buckle up and get ready to be swept up in the global 'Kenzie Anne frenzy.'"
The performer noted her Pet of the Year crown means "being a brand ambassador for life."
"It means shining the term ‘class act’ on the entire adult and mainstream industry, marrying the two seamlessly, showing society it’s possible to be sexually in power and also grabbing the correct respect from my audience," she said. "I will never let down the people who inspire me, the people inspired by me or my peers. I will always be a classy woman who represents something intoxicating enough to inspire everyone to find comfort in who they are. That has always been my goal in life, to make people feel comfortable in their skin."
The January/February issue of Penthouse is now available on newsstands.
In related news, Kenzie Anne will discuss her coronation on an upcoming episode of the "It's Time" podcast with Bruce Buffer.
