BOSTON — Sssh.com is seeking to partner with independent content creators in an expansion of its existing “Sssh at Home” initiative launched during the COVID-19 pandemic.
"In response to the outpouring from independent creators and performers who are seeing their livelihoods [adversely affected] by Mastercard’s new policy, we want to offer a solution that pays a fair and generous market rate for content that complements Sssh.com’s existing library," explained Sssh.com founder Angie Rowntree.
“We want to help our colleagues in the adult industry through this horrible ordeal until the platforms stabilize,” she added.
The new initiative is aimed at creators who are currently struggling with content being vetted in a timely manner. Rowntree described a performer who tweeted that “overnight, her library of over 1,000 clips was reduced to just 12, causing her extreme distress and anxiety about her financial future.”
Sssh.com encourages creators in similar difficulties to DM the company on Twitter, or reach out to Jennifer Shires at editor@sssh.com to explore licensing their content and affiliate opportunities.
