Mr. Skin, Mr. Man Launch $1K 'Cosplay Challenge'

CHICAGO — Mr. Skin and Mr. Man have announced a “Cosplay Challenge” contest with a chance to win a $1,000 grand prize.

The celebrity nudity sites kicked off the contest today at 10 a.m. (PDT) and submissions will be accepted until Friday, November 5, at 9:59 p.m. (PDT).

Ten finalists will be selected by a panel of qualified judges from all eligible entries — the cosplay costumes can represent a character from any form of media, including film, TV, cartoons, graphic novels and books — with public voting taking place November 8-12 at MrSkin.com and MrMan.com.

A winner will be announced November 15.

“We are excited to see who comes out on top of our 'Cosplay Contest,'" said a rep. “We will evaluate the costumes on overall aesthetic appeal, craftsmanship and originality, then the fans will decide the best-dressed costume from there. Get dressed up, take a photo and post it on social media — this may be the easiest $1,000 you’ve ever earned.”

Entrants should follow both sites on Twitter and Instagram and submit entries using the hashtag #MrSkinCosplayChallenge.

Entrants must be legal U.S. residents, at least 21 years of age and adhere to the submission requirements, including no violent, derogatory or obscene portrayals, depictions that include alcohol, illegal drugs, tobacco, firearms or weapons, third-party logos, trademarks or copyrighted materials, or entries that violate any applicable U.S. laws or regulations.
