LAS VEGAS — Miles Long was the featured guest on a recent episode of Lisa Ann’s podcast “The Lisa Ann Experience.”
Long discussed his work as a director, the industry’s new business model in the wake of the COVID-19 lockdowns and the rise of self-produced content on social platforms such as JustForFans, LoyalFans and others, as well as their effects on adult film production in the future.
"There are a lot of people who didn’t consider adult [content] previously, girls who were nightclub hostesses, day clubs — they were used to wearing a bikini, adult dancers. Those people are making content now, too,” Long said. “I think it’s helped the business itself become a little bit more socially acceptable."
Long also shared his thoughts that Los Angeles and Las Vegas are vastly different in regards to how the industry operates in these cities, social media’s ongoing issues with adult content and the advice he gives performers before doing a scene.
"No matter what your agent says, or your friends say, or the guy who’s shooting your content says,” Long explained, “don’t ever do anything on film that you wouldn’t do in your personal life."
A rep noted the host and her guest "even spent time talking about his full-time projects building his award-winning show cars and show bikes, and how he has taken his projects from a part-time hobby to full-time manufacturer-sponsored builds that he features on his social media, and are now featured on numerous popular car groups across the internet."
