CHASKA, Minn. — MyPillow CEO and Republican activist Mike Lindell has announced that his new “free speech” social media platform combining features of YouTube and Twitter will not allow adult content because “free speech is not pornography.”
Details about the yet-to-be-officially-named platform, which Lindell is developing in reaction to Twitter banning him and Donald Trump for repeated violations of their terms of service, were shared by the Minnesota businessman in a promotional video posted to the placeholder site, FrankSpeech.com.
Lindell had previously announced his porn-exclusionary “free speech” social media service will launch this week. The businessman offered “VIP early access” to those willing to submit their phone numbers to him, in order to be texted “at midnight on Thursday,” although full public access has now been pushed back to Monday, April 19.
"Coming next week... a social media platform like no other," Lindell told his Parler followers.
In the new video Lindell expounded on how he will limit “free speech” on his new platform: “You don't get to use the four swear words. The C-word, the N-word, the F-word or God's name in vain. Free speech is not pornography, free speech isn't 'I am going to kill you,' it is very well-defined in our mission statement."
Lindell has not yet shared this mission statement, but noted he will be “on there live, all day long” Monday for the public launch.
The MyPillow CEO said he has spent “millions of dollars” on his new, designedly porn-averse platform.
