LONDON — On March 6, an advertisement from Hot Octopuss was the first sex toy advert to be approved for and featured in U.K. news publication, The Guardian.
Founded in 1817, The Guardian is sister to the world’s oldest publication Sunday newspaper, the Observer, and is considered one of the world’s most influential media platforms, the company said.
Hot Octopuss’ couples’ sex toy, Pulse Duo Lux, was pictured alongside its two wrist wrap remotes and a scannable QR code beside a tattooed male model and the tagline “Making Lockdown Bearable.”
Hot Octopuss is the creator of the world’s first 'guybrator,' which is designed to bring a man to completion with or without an erection. The company also is behind PulsePlate Technology, Treble and Bass Technology, hands-free penis toys and the recent launch of Kurve, a dual-motored G-spot vibrator.
