LAS VEGAS — Deja Vu Group has promoted Megan Swartz to Director of Purchasing for its retail division.
Swartz is a 2021 XBIZ Exec Awards nominee for the Progressive Leadership Award.
"Megan has worked for Deja Vu for nearly 20 years and has consistently been recognized as among the best and brightest," Director of Operations Ryan Carlson said. "We are thrilled to have her take on exciting challenges in her new position and represent the procurement department for nearly all Deja Vu retail locations."
Swartz previously held General Manager positions at various retail and adult nightclub divisions; she is also the creator of the Together Vibe, an innovative lesbian couples toy.
"Our pending transition to self-distribution and centralized warehousing has been an exciting process that allows us to leverage the buying power of the largest retailer in the adult boutique market," noted Swartz. "It's given us great opportunities to work directly with new vendors and deal in bulk transactions to more effectively leverage our size."
Deja Vu Group, with over 80 retail locations worldwide, is the largest operator of adult retail stores in the United States.
A rep noted the company has led "an aggressive buying spree for new retail locations in the last three years with plans to expand to over 150 locations by 2028. Its flagship stores in Las Vegas, Deja Vu's Adult Emporium and Deja Vu's Love Boutique, are considered the top adult stores in the world."
