LOS ANGELES — Cherie DeVille has unveiled a new website, ErectionSeason.com, to “remind her fans that it is their right to vote in the upcoming election.”
DeVille — and her running mate, rapper Coolio — “nearly won their bid as the Reform Party nominee for the 2020 election,” said a rep.
“But, while she decided to concentrate on her career as a top-tier performer, Cherie never lost her passion for politics,” the rep added. “So, do as Cherie says, get out — and get erect.”
While the site is lighthearted in nature, ErectionSeason’s message is described by DeVille as “very important,” as she shares vital information and resources for fans, including each state's rules and deadlines, as well as how people can report voter suppression.
"It's very important to me that everyone has the opportunity to exercise their Constitutional right to vote," DeVille recently told the New York Post.
"This year more than ever, we need to make sure those in power listen to our voices, and the best way to make that happen is to vote,” DeVille added. “I want my fans to be informed, which is why I provide important information that will help them understand their rights. As I say in my video, don't take this lying down, seated or flaccid. Please visit ErectionSeason and get out and vote!"
