Carli Sapir of Reformation Ventures to Guest on Sunday's 'Sex Tech Connect'

LOS ANGELES — Carli Sapir, founding partner of Reformation Ventures, will appear as a special guest of the Sex Tech Connect teleconferencing event series this Sunday, which was organized by the recently formed networking group for the sextech and adult retail industries, and professionals involved with sexuality research, journalism and the arts.

The group meets Sundays at 10 a.m. (PDT) for "Virtual Brunch, Happy Hour or Late Night Drink." Recent guests have included "Love and Sex With Robots" author Dr. David Levy; Skirt Club founder and CEO Genevieve LeJeune; venture capitalist McKeever "Mac" Conwell II; and Dr. Ava Cadell, among others.

A rep described Reformation Ventures as "an early stage VC fund focused on sexual health and women’s health technology." Sapir is also the founder and CEO of Female Founded Club, noted as "a sourcing platform where investors find pre-selected female founded startups in need of capital."

During Sunday's meetup, attendees will have the opportunity to speak directly to Sapir, and to one another, said the rep, to "network, learn and advocate for the industry."

Sex Tech Connect co-founder and adult industry attorney Maxine Lynn looks forward to Sunday's discussion and networking session.

“We’re really happy to host Carli, as it is so important for sextech companies to have resources from which they can draw when starting up,” she said. “In a stigmatized industry, this can be really difficult, especially when it comes to obtaining VC funds or even getting mentorship on how to achieve that.”

Sapir echoed Lynn's enthusiasm. "I'm really looking forward to speaking with the Sex Tech Connect community and meeting like-minded individuals," she said.
