LOS ANGELES — Vendo has released the keynote address of yesterday's Vendo User Conference which detailed the effect of the novel coronavirus outbreak on subscription content businesses.
The conference was an exclusive event to facilitate networking and interaction between clients and the Vendo team.
The keynote tracked, over 30 days, increased traffic, lower conversions and an increase in total active members as a result of reduced cancellations and detailed the effects of COVID-19 in Italy, Spain, Sweden and the United States. It also presented an overview of countries "that have taken a strong [COVID-19] track-and-trace approach," a rep explained, such as Hong Kong, Singapore, South Korea and Taiwan.
"With next-level data tools and analytics, Vendo isn't just identifying the trends, [we] are predicting them," said Tom A, CTO for Vendo. "If you aren't attending [our] insightful Zoom meetups, then you are not properly safeguarding your businesses in an unpredictable, COVID future."
Founder and CEO Stephen G described Vendo's services as a crucial predictive tool.
"Using tools to not only see your join, cancellation and rebill statistics for today but also to predict for the coming months, especially during these times, has been valuable but being able to then compare that with other programs and see if their data matches or differs from ours enables us to have more control over our where we direct our efforts."
"During COVID we've seen some numbers that deviate from what would normally be expected," he continued. "So to see that we're not alone in this, gives us the ability to see industry-wide trends and not just our own."
