LOS ANGELES — Wicked Pictures contract star Jessica Drake and director Brad Armstrong have wrapped principal photography on scripted feature “Lost Love.”
Billed as “an engrossing look into the grieving process and how it affects emotions, relationships and lives,” the feature has an autumn release on the boards.
Jessie Lee, Kira Noir and Penny Pax fill out the cast. Male talent includes Ryan Driller, Small Hands and Donnie Rock.
"This movie is an in-depth look at love and loss, with layers of nuance that only Brad Armstrong could have envisioned and brought to the screen," Drake said. "My character is blindsided by the loss of her husband, played by Ryan Driller. As she navigates the aftermath, we witness her pain firsthand. This completely unapologetic look at grief, loss and the complexities of love brings us some of the most intense sex scenes in my career with some of the most talented performers in the industry. Working with Penny was amazing, and the rest of the cast brought their acting A-game as well."
Armstrong described a tricky process of balancing all of the film’s elements, culminating in a “chilling, climactic ending,” while Drake notes how the cinematography “evokes different emotions throughout. Pay very close attention to the details. You’ll discover there’s more to our characters than their words and actions.”
Filming certain scenes, at times, felt “too intense, too painful and too close to home,” recalled Drake. “But with our great cast and crew, we brought all of those feelings to the screen. It wasn’t easy to shoot, but it was a labor of love and I can’t wait to share it.”
Armstrong is anxious to complete the film and release it. "I love a good surprise ending and I think people who like story-based erotica will really enjoy 'Lost Love,'" he said.
