newTumbl Hits Top 10,000 Most Viewed Websites in U.S.

LOS ANGELES — Social media platform newTumbl has reported breaking into the top 10,000 most visited websites in the U.S.

According to Alexa analytics, the platform currently is ranked as number 9,916 in the U.S. with viewership steadily increasing.

The Tumblr-alternative recently announced the signing of its 100,000th user just three months after launching in January. While welcoming to adult content, the site also includes SFW material and bills itself as being “quite diverse in content and interests.”

Dean, a programmer for newTumbl, explained that the milestone is impressive for the young company. “Out of the 15-plus alternatives which were lucky enough to be mentioned in various articles back in December 2018 as possible replacements for Tumblr, newTumbl has passed all but two. Those two sites are pretty established having been around for three and 10 years respectively. We’re on their heels now and gaining daily while they’ve plateaued months ago. We’re not ones to stroke egos or anything but this really quite a feat when you consider we received zero of the early press which significantly boosted the others exposure.”
