AVSecure to Host Workshop at 2019 XBIZ Show

LOS ANGELES — Age-verification solution provider AVSecure will host an exclusive workshop at next month’s 2019 XBIZ Show, presented by ManyVids.

The AVSecure workshop will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 15, from 2-2:50 p.m. at West Hollywood’s Andaz hotel, the host hotel for the XBIZ Show.

Stephen Winyard, AVSecure’s chief marketing officer, said the U.K. government is in the very last stages of implementing AV and will be providing a start date soon. Winyard, who said “it won’t be long now” until the rules are official and go into effect, said that all online content providers should learn what AV means for their businesses.

“AVSecure welcomes you to a dedicated workshop explaining the U.K. Digital Economy Act, what age verification means to your business and how to comply,” Winyard said. “In addition, we will explain the guidance from the BBFC on the content that is allowed before age verification.

“Finally, learn why AVSecure is the most in demand solution for the global adult industry … and remember it’s totally free for all merchants.”
