LOS ANGELES — Rock Candy Toys is increasing its in-store training programs, retail support and candy-themed promotional events ahead of the holiday season shopping rush.
"To kick off the holiday season, Rock Candy is directing its focus to bolstering its selection of dynamic merchandising pieces for any retail store environment,” a company rep said. “Merchandising kits include full-sized wall graphics, hanging signs and the award-nominated Candy Shoppe point-of-purchase display.”
The company has also teamed with select retailers “to provide education for consumer-driven couples events,” starting with Déjà Vu Love Boutique outlets in Las Vegas and Bakersfield, Calif.
Rocky Candy is also throwing support behind Exotic Adult Superstore in Humble, TX. “Their annual Ladies Night event is expected to draw 250 women from the Houston area,” said the rep.
“With candy being such a big part of the every holiday, Rock Candy has been a welcome, natural (presence) at store events nationwide,” said Casey Murphy, head of nationwide promotions. “The stores and customers really respond to the fun candy theme at the events.”
David Joseph, Rock Candy’s CEO, emphasized the importance of the retailer-distributor partnership. “There is nothing more valuable to us than creating long-lasting relationships with our retailers and distributors,” he said.
“We developed the Rock Candy line with our team with intention of creating an experience much like the ‘Disneyland effect.’ The sugar on top of our efforts to create uniquely designed products is our unmatched approach to retail merchandising. We are thrilled to reinvent the retail atmosphere around the globe.”
