Adam & Eve's 'The Cursed XXX' Finding Success With Reviewers

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — “The Cursed XXX,” the paranormal thriller from Adam & Eve Pictures released earlier this summer has garnered a number of uplifting reviews for star Riley Reid, the movie itself and writer/director Will Ryder.

“The Cursed XXX” stars Reid, Kat Dior, Sarah Vandella, Misty Stone, Holly Hendrix, Nia Nacci, Chloe Scott, Victoria June, Maya Bijou, Ziggy Star, Lucky Starr and Veronica Valentine. The adult talent are Brad Armstrong, Seth Gamble, Chad White, Mike Mancini, Frank Bukkwyd, Connor Kennedy, Eric John and James Bartholet.

Here’s a capsule summary of “The Cursed XXX”: After a fire destroys a women's shelter killing all but one, the sexy dark truth about a cursed Hollywood cam house is uncovered when a dead girl is found floating in the pool. Scared, beautiful cam girls become fearfully obsessed with new resident Abigail (Reid), and when demonic spirits and paranormal activity invade the mansion, even the LAPD is baffled at finding the killer in a sexy who-dunnit mystery.

Ryder said that so far he is happy with the early reviews and that “it just validates you as a writer, producer and director and also as a casting director because you picked the perfect actors to play these roles.”

Roger Pipe on the RogReviews website, Art Koch of NightMoves Magazine and Apache Warrior of XCritic each provided great reviews of the production, direction and cast, in particular Riley Reid.

"We hope to get a lot of XBIZ Awards nominations this fall for our cast and crew because January is more fun when you're in contention and this movie is a seat-of-your pants thriller," he said. "As a writer and director, you pray that you're making something unique, something you've perhaps never done before in hopes that your cast will like the script. That's my first goal and first fear.”

The “Cursed XXX” is in stores on DVD now and also on video-on-demand and will be showcased at the Heaven & Hell Halloween party Saturday, Oct. 27, in Hollywood, Calif. Check out the trailer here.
