Wicked Congratulates Marc Dorcel on XBIZ Europa Awards Nominations

LOS ANGELES — Wicked Pictures has congratulated Marc Dorcel on the occasion of the studio’s raft of 2018 XBIZ Europa Awards nominations.

The Paris-based studio, which has been exclusively distributed by Wicked in the United States for over two decades, racked up nearly two-dozen nominations. The kudos recognize “the technical sheen and captivating eroticism” of Marc Dorcel films, a rep said.

“Undercover,” a “fast-paced erotic thriller” with a budget of 160,000 euros, earned gongs for Feature Movie of the Year, Best Actor (Dorian del Isla), Best Sex Scene – Feature Movie (Mina Sauvage and Isla) and Director of the Year (Hervé Bodilis).

Additional citations for Best Sex Scene – Feature Movie went to “The Perverse Games of a Posh Wife” (Anna Polina, Josh Jo) and “Claire: Desires of Submission” (Claire Castel, Mina Sauvage, Rico Simmons).

Marc Dorcel’s nominations also include two Glamcore Movie of the Year nods – for “Luxure: Wife to Educate” and “The Horse Rider” – and citations in various categories for “French Maids to Share,” “40 Years Old,” “My Wife With No Panties,” “Scandal In A Locker Room” and “Madam Eva and Her Girls,” among others.

The web and sales categories brought nominations for Erotic Site of the Year for DorcelClub.com, Online retailer of the Year for DorcelStore.com and Retailer of the Year – Chain, as well as the marquee categories of Studio of the Year and Global Brand of the Year.

“Marc Dorcel is a true pioneer and visionary. We congratulate him for creating an incredible brand, and commend Gregory Dorcel for all he has done with the company since taking the reigns,” said Steve Orenstein, Wicked Pictures President and Owner. “The Dorcel brand has changed the adult world, bringing style, sophistication and innovation to the global marketplace. Wicked is honored to play a part in continuing to bring their high-quality movies to the United States, and making them available for generations of lifelong views and future fans.”
