LOS ANGELES — iWantEmpire today said it signed adult star Tasha Reign to an exclusive contract. Reign is the second performer to sign with the company.
Reign’s a former Penthouse Pet and the current chair for APAC (known formally as the Adult Performer Advocacy Committee).
“We are extremely pleased to have Tasha join our team through this exclusive agreement and can’t wait to see the content Tasha wants to make,” iWantEmpire Vice President Jay Phillips said.
With the deal, Reign will receive guaranteed production dates, marketing and publicity support, as well as revenue from her iWantEmpire stores, along with a subsidy for all talent testing fees at Talent Testing Center.
In exchange, iWantEmpire will be home to Tasha’s exclusive clip store. Reign, however, will remain available to shoot with traditional film studios.
iWantEmpire and its subsidiary sites, iWantCustomClips, iWantPhone, iWantClips are a leading independent fetish, cam girl, amateur, gay, trans and porn star portals. iWantEmpire’s proprietary and intuitive software employs visual icons that boast easy search and navigation features, along with a platform for direct interaction and communication with the site’s bevy of artists. The company offers vanity URLs for its roster of stars.
Reign is among the most recognized figures in the adult industry. She’s a UCLA grad and outspoken supporter of women’s rights and sexual freedom.
Having first appeared in Playboy in 2010 in its Girls of the Pac 10 pictorial, she went on to appear in Penthouse magazine as the coveted May 2011 Pet of the month then on to a number of popular adult films.
“I am very excited to join iWantEmpire and to open my clip store," Reign said. “Jay and Nikki have clearly built iWantEmpire for performers and take this plight very seriously. They have been paying attention to what has been missing in the industry and have worked tirelessly to fill the void.
“From their contributions to APAC, Talent Testing partnership, payouts and model support, their plan is challenging the current status quo, and stands with everything I have always believed in. It is an honor to be a part of the IWantEmpire team.”
Sandra McCarthy, co-owner of OC Modeling, who represents Reign, said the star “is a beautiful, strong, educated woman who breaks stereotypes everywhere she goes.”
“The partnership between Tasha and iWantEmpire is a win-win for both sides as it combines Tasha’s major sex appeal and popularity with iWantEmpire’s platform for entrepreneurs,” she said.
