HIGHTSTOWN, N.J. — East Coast News announced today that the adult distributor recently partnered with Love Shack in Lake Charles, La., to donate essentials to those in need after the devastation from Hurricane Harvey.
The hurricane, lasting from late-August to early September, affected tens of thousands of people, along with their homes, businesses and more.
"It was extremely important for our company to get involved with the relief efforts,” an East Coast News rep said. “We have many customers, partners, friends, and family members in the region, and we want to be a part of the recovery."
East Coast News collected essential items from all three office locations and had them shipped to the Love Shack store, where workers loaded a trailer and drove to the area. Clothing, toiletries, toys, household items, nonperishable foods and water were all gathered.
"ECN went above and beyond and provided a trailer full of boxes filled with essentials that have all been donated to the Salvation Army and will help our Texas friends recover after this tragedy,” a Love Shack rep said. “We couldn't ask for a better partner to do this with!”
East Coast News — one of the largest distributors of adult toys, novelties and accessories — has warehouses strategically located in New Jersey, Florida and California.
