DVDVideoSoft Updates YouTube to iPod Converter

SHENZEN, China — DVDVideoSoft Limited has updated its free “YouTube to iPod Converter,” a program that allows users to download videos from YouTube.com and convert the files to MP4 video format for playback on an Apple iPod, Sony PSP or video-enabled cell phone.

“There are tons of amazing videos on YouTube, but unfortunately, it is almost impossible to get them from there,” said a DVDVideoSoft spokesperson. “Free YouTube to iPod Converter makes it easy to share funny videos with friends and family. With just a few simple steps, users are on their way to enjoying their favorite online videos without having to sit in front of the computer.”

According to DVDVideoSoft, the converter is very simple to operate; users simply insert a YouTube link into the program interface, and click the “download and convert” button, and the conversion begins. The converter is capable of translating a variety of formats, including .avi, .mpg, .mpeg, .mpe, .wmv, .asf, .mov, .qt, 3gp, 3g2, .flv and .swf.

On its website, DVDVideoSoft assures that the “software contains no spyware or adware, and works with a majority of firewalls,” and that its programs run under “all Windows versions, including Vista.”
