"The DVD market is going down, so there are more toys and hard goods that are coming into play as far as retailers go," Vice President of Marketing Jennifer Martsolf told XBIZ. "The home party market is huge; people don’t want to go to bookstores anymore. [The home party market] is driven by women, so it has to be better and softer and more romantic. Products formulated especially for women seemed a natural fit."
Martsolf said Trigg worked on the flavor blend extensively. The Wet Naturals formulas include Aloe Vera, Vitamin E, Vitamin C, and Red Clover, Cranberry and Grapefruit Seed Extracts, and the Sensual Strawberry body glide is naturally flavored.
"It is not sweet like most flavored lubricants and it doesn’t have any aftertaste," Martsolf said. "I have a bottle on my desk and I keep on tasting it. It’s really delicious.”
The line was first launched at the International Lingerie Show in Las Vegas in April, and Martsolf told XBIZ the products are very popular with adult stars. Though she said Trigg has never had a spokesmodel, they recently did a photoshoot with Penthouse Pet Jamie Lynn. The company is also planning an advertising campaign in Cosmopolitan magazine this fall.
