BERLIN — Entrepreneur Heidi Berkmüller recently launched a Kickstarter campaign to fuel her new fetish brand, Pique Lingerie, which is planning to debut with the Sybari plunge bra.
What’s unique about Pique Lingerie is that its fetish underwear is specifically for fuller-busted women who require bra cup sizes double-D through I (U.S.) or E through J (E.U.)
Ditching a self-described “jetset” career in order to start up Pique Lingerie, Berkmüller acquired all the skills to make her brand come to life — she’s a trained seamstress and has studied pattern drafting as well as lingerie construction and engineering.
The Sybari plunge bra, inspired by bondage rope art, offers great results with maximum lift and forward projection. Also, she said, it has an extra low center gore for knockout cleavage.
Features of the Sybari include deep cups, U-shaped underwires, thin stabilizing lining, adjustable collar straps, slim double shoulder straps and a triple-elastic rear band.
The Sybari also has several panty styles — a high-waisted panty and a strappy brief.
“I wanted a design that reflects the power and strength not only in being dominant, but also in relinquishing control to someone you trust in order to build depth and intimacy” said Berkmüller, who lives in Berlin and enjoys the fetish scene there. “It is a beautiful and unique aspect of kink that I wanted to express in my designs”
The Kickstarter campaign is down to its last two weeks and is more than half way reaching a goal of about $24,000, which will allow Berkmüller to fold out her business plan and create an online shop.
If the campaign exceeds its target, Berkmüller plans to use the excess to increase the bra size range Sybari will be able to offer.
